It is my great honour and pleasure to share my perspective at such a timely, relevant, high-level workshop on “The Geopolitics of Cyberspace”- a project under the Mekong-Lancing Cooperation framework. The Asian Vision Institute (AVI) is pleased to be the partner of NIDIR in carrying out the project on cyber diplomacy.
Before talking about the geopolitics of cyberspace, I would like to share my humble insight into the state of the world that we are experiencing.
The international situation is getting more volatile, ambiguous, and dangerous. The world is moving towards a multiplex world in which multiple issues are increasingly entangled. Multiple actors (both state and non-state actors) interplay dynamically, while time and space are no longer a constraint thanks to advanced technology.
